View Full Version : So whos going to be buying DoW?
Just out of curiosity, who's going to be purchasing Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War? I'll deffinatley be getting it as long as they sort out the rather terrible performace issues that plagued the beta. But I'm a Warhammer 40k fanboy, so I'd probably buy it regardless. ;o

Me :)
Although I'd really love, and prefer, a straight conversion of Warhammer/40K for the pc - complete with amazing 3d landscapes and units :) Add a terrain editor, chose your army, and battle it out online. Turn based is where it's at.

How many units does it support?
I like RTS games with a few hundred/thousand units

Hell yeah. I wish bigtime developers still released turn-based games. Everything is realtime these days.

I think it supports something like 1000 units a side (I heard the max squads you can have was 200, and I guess 1 squad consists of at least 5 soliders).
