Well World of Worldcraft looks amazing and i want to know what everyone is planning on playing as. Post your race and class and why your interested in that particular character.

Im looking forward to playing as a Tauren, warrior or hunter. I love the way to tauren looks but due to its limited class choice i might not be it. And if i do not pick it i will definatly choose one of the other horde races.

Ewww, the priest? They are such a crappy class...I played mine till 11...I felt like I was playing a monk in Everquest again...no groups...sucks at soloing...lots of downtime.

What would you suggest? I hate spell casters/summoners. I'm never a mage or warlock or whatever they're called in games because I go insane when playing them. I like to be up front taking the hits and doing damage.

I like goin' around just helpin' whoever... but something cruel yet very entertaining I found out I could do today is watch someone die without doing anything... kill their monster (I have no problems soloing things my level or a couple above... as long as it's just one on one. :P), then go over and ressurect them! :D They say 'thank you' and like you even though you watched them die and took their loot... if that's not satisfying, I don't know what is! :P

One downside to being a tauren though is you cant ride animals, but you can "plainsrun" i read which makes you run really fast.

I've really enjoyed being a Human Warrior, so I might be incredibly boring and be one in the full game ;) I really don't like magic and any of that stuff. To me, there's nothing better than charging up to an enemy and twatting him a dozen times with a sword that's bigger than you are.

Well, I'll have other characters on other servers though, of course.

i'm definitely gonna be a Human Rogue :D just so much fun. you get the best of both worlds in terms of combat skills and spells/talents. might try a mage or something for a bit of variation.

ive allready done it! my character list consists of Suicide, the lv. 16 paladin, and Suicidal- a lv. 4 female undead warlock. unfortunately you cant even talk to members of the opposite faction but its very fun. warlocks rock- especially when you get the big monsters!

one things for sure- im not going to be a human, gnome or dwarf- in this beta ive allready done all there is to do on the early areas- and i couldnt face doing it all again. imageine doing the same quests... again...

i might be a night elf hunter, either that or ill be an undead warlock. tauren druid looks good too. i might consider being a human again- but only if i chose a class completely different to a paladin.

Basically if all my freinds are alliance, ill be night elf- if therye horde, ill be undead/ tauren. But hopefully i'll make 2 characters so i can play with all my freinds :)

and btw- those quests were very fun :) i love wow- too bad its over tommorrow ;( i swear if school hadnt started on friday i would be level 25 by now. DAMN J00 SCH00L! leave me and my summer holiday / WOW in peace!

1: you can only fight instantly on PvP servers- the ones with two swords clashed against each other next to the name. and when i mean fight- i mean 200 aside battles with huge invasions and charges, warriors charging at the front, preists desperately healing the woundedc and about a million ghosts swarming back to the battle.

2: class, isnt it? so much more stylish than everyhting else :)

really? i knew that there was loads of messages saying that places were attacked but i thought that horde just werent allowed in towns or they got shot or something... anyway i have fought alongside tauren before and they never attacked me... :/

maybe PvP servers allow anyone to be attacked, while normal servers allow city guards to be attacked?

I have school and a job...but sleep isn't neccesary :) I am not sure if I am going to get the game, I guess it depends when it releases compared to Half-Life 2.

You don't battle like final fantasy games, you just attack whoever you want whenever you want.

So you can run up behind someone and slash them and then run to another person and do the same without going into "engage mode"?

And how to the attacks work? you choose from a menu a certain attack then the computer kinda takes over? Or its like a click and slash game but you are limited slashes by which weapon you have i suppose? (say the Axe takes longer to swing type of dealy)

You can only run up behind people and slash them if you're on a PVP server. Other than that, everyone has to mutually agree to PVP.

Most NPCs are in PVP, so they can be attacked and killed.

PvP servers are a lot of fun and you never get raped. The enemies always come from places away from where you are hunting, or from docks of nuetral towns. If you ever do see an enemy in the middle of nowhere he is probably just passing by and you can just ignore him or try to kill him.

I was thinking the same thing, but I want to get at least to lvl 15 and try out this PvP deal :) Being able to go up to a lvl 5 player and killing them for no reason just sounds fun for some reason :D
