Couldn't believe it myself until I saw the pics. This guy uses GTA textures and manages to build an entire city using the Cry Tek engine. Very impressive, considering the most people get out of that engine is jungle stuff. Some glimmer of hope after the screwage modders got with the delayed SDK and all.
Source competitor, doubt it, but at least they have a fighting chance now.

Wow, that is really impressive, hope he releases that for MPlayer use, could do some nice roleplaying there.

Looks real good. I just hope we finds the high res textures he is looking for. :)

Make a decent mod with that, improve the textures etc. and it might just be worth checking out farcry again.

Its not exactly great looking, and the lighting is pure horror but if its as big as it looks then its impressive. Now all they have to do is code it :laugh:

The scale of it is impressive to me, just not exactly the looks. The Far Cry engine is capable of much more, I think it's just the low res textures.
