Doom 3 Standard Edition Piss Up

Hello,

Well i ordered this game on the 1st of August from mx2.co.uk and saw a Special Edition and a Standard DVD Edition. I wanted the DVD Edition because having just bought FarCry I thought 6 disks might be a bit too much to handle. Now the SE comes out on the 13th/14th of August, and you would have thought that the bog standard version would also be released at the same time, but for some reason it has been delayed until, wait for it, "Mid October". Now this is ****ing ridiculous, its going to arrive after HL2 comes out and yet there is still the SE edition already out. Im realy pissed because i been waiting at the door every morning for the last week for it to arrive lol and now i read its not coming for another two months. This is ridiculous.

Any one else had the same problem?

and there is no second of all.

LOL, I think the time you've spent waiting for the SE DVD version is much MUCH greater than the time it takes to switch out 3 cds during the install, as opposed to just one dvd.

I think the 'Special Edition' might just refer to the fact that it's in a cardboard sleeve.
