So, has anyone ever skipped school to play a video game? If so, please state which game you played while skipping school.

I have never skipped school to play a video game. But, that might change once Half-Life 2 is released.

Never skipped school or college to stay at home to play a game. But I skipped the odd day just because I couldnt be bothered to go in. :hmph:

i skipped a couple of days off school to play HL, and then eventually Opposing Force. also skipped a day to play Deus Ex. more recently i didn't bother turning up to lectures since i was engrossed in Morrowind.

but you know what? i didn't lose anything by skipping school. i gained a hell of a lot more from playing those games than i would have done if i went in to school/university on those days.

and when the time comes, if HL2 is released on a day i have work or if i have a lecture, i'll seriously consider taking a day or two off because it'll be worth it :)

No i haven't, although there have been times where I was perhaps influenced by the computer. However, when I haven't really been ill and I have stayed off school, something really important or great has happened. Every single time as well, and that is no joke. I try not to miss days now, for instacne I almost didn't go into work on saturday because I didn't really feel like it, but it turned out I had a review. It wouldn't have looked very good if I had been off that day :O

When I'm at collage this year I'm gonna try my best because I know largely due to my spending time on here, I didn't do so well last year.

I did, but then I got kicked out :x

Never did like my school, more stress than anything else. Don't miss it much, now I can't really "skip" school to play games. Cause I am at home doing school work...so I can play whenever I want :-P

I skipped 7th period in High School one day to BUY a game. It was Vice City. I ran 3 red lights and almost hit a car in the parking lot. Needless to say, I was excited about that game.

I know this person that I work with(or atleast I did until he got fired for soon to be obvious reasons) who would, while on the clock, go home and play games.

And what's wrong with Fritos?

Nope, I haven't, there have been a few days where I just didn't go cause i was tired or something.

I think I stayed home once to avoid having to turn in a project that I didn't do because I was too busy playing Starcraft once... long time ago, though... seventh grade...
