Increasing AA in Doom3 problem

I'm having a problem increasing my AA in D3 above 4x. Everytime I set it above 4x and restart Doom it resets the resolustion to 640 and turns off AA. Anyone else run into this or have any suggestions on fixes?

I have 3.0 gig HT processor, 512 dual channel ddr, radeon x800 pro

Update drivers.

As Dalamari said, update drivers or just use 4x AA.

i can run it with 8x and the framerates are still fine but theres nt much diffrence than with 2x so its nt really worth it. wen i turn it up 2 16x the whole thing jus eats my Geforce 6800 Ultra but it does work, either u need to update drivers or reinstall the game.

wen i first installed the game everytime a cutscene started the thing crashed but after a fresh reinstall it was all fine. stick to 2x AA its jus the same on Doom 3 u wn;t notice
