I may not be the brightest gamer in the world...but what does multisampling mean in games..I turn it on and there is no difference...or is there?? Somebody help my stupidity!! Thanks.

Yeah, multisampling and supersampling are both just forms of antialiasing (smooths down jagged edges). Why they used those terms I don't know, as most people refer to it as antialiasing.

It is the type of antalaising that the video card uses. I whipped up a link to explain the types of AA to you guys. It explains AA far better than I can. The link is a tad bit old, but is still relevant today.
