Here's a little work in progress I'm working on for the contest. A combine heavy rifle...it's loosely based on the sketch below.

I finished all the main work on the rifle. So far I've put in 1:45 hours in this since last night. Now I'm going to start adding detail pieces, and going to texture it...and then clean the mesh up...by Saturday. ;)

cool man, very good, looking forward to see the final project!! but one thing, i think the gun's grip (or handle i don't know wtf that is named) is a little small or "fat" if you know what i mean, other than that, it's great!

Yeah I agree with the handle part...and I've actually fixed it, I'll put up a render later.

Cool concept. It reminds me of the Callisto NTG from Perfect Dark. I'll try and find a pic.

EDIT: These were the best I could come up with. I guess it wasn't as close as I thought. Oh well, I still like the gun.

Here's a little update. I'm going to work on the textures for the butt of the rifle, so hang on, but not today. :rolling:

EDIT: Maybe a little more needs to be said. As in, great detail, especially the "Property of City 17 Combine Forces" plate.

Looks cool, like something out of star trek. It reminds me of this weapon somewhat. Just the style really, not the rifle:

It's nicely rendered but looks badly modelled. THe textures looks quite nice though.
