Do you have any info on it other than the mech fact. Like story, gameplay, anything innovative. I mean yeah mechs are cool, but everyone does mechs, what are you going to do that hasnt been done, or better yet, what are you going to do that will make your mod "kick ass"

IDEA: There will be 2 seperate life bars. One for the mech the other for the pilot. You have to eject to save the pilot. If the pilot dies in multiplayer it takes a min to respawn to discourage people that eject from killing themselves to respawn as a mech. If you eject you can go and pilot tanks or aircraft located in bases. The bases can be destroyed by the mechs. People get points for kills and destruction of bases. The bases can also be destroyed by ejected mech pilots. We will also eventually include singleplayer. The mod will be celshaded to preserve the feeling of anime. Celshading looks like Jet Grind Radio and Zone of the Enders The Second runner if you were wondering. The working title is Mech Malice. We are probably going to change that though. We have a very clear idea and are looking for a team to expand the idea with.

Good idea, hope you guys get some help and make a kick ass mod.

Id like to see the cell shading in action, if you guys can do that right, I mean you can do it with textures, but if you can do it at the shader lvl, that would be sweet.

cell shading? ... that would require that you reworked the entire grafic engine..why not make a new one then? ...but otherwise it sound nice..GL

ya gundam mods have been done before...but never with the capabilities of the hl2 engine, thats whats gonna make the mod "kick ass"

base it on gundam seed rather then gundam wing .. since they have special abbilities like cloacking and such .. also very different type of wanzers so you guys might want to check that out .. also gundam wing is old so :s not so good. otherwise great idea but keep in mind that it's HL2 engine ... the land isn't that stretched .. so you guys might want to keep it up in space at the beginning ... mayb do the crash of the heliopolis or such .. anywayz if you need ideas just PM me ...

I second that. This Mod sounds good (even if I don't like the celshading part...the normal source engine is ideal for such a mod.). if you need Ideas or suggestions, just PM me.
