yeah as people have said, cyber cafe people aint got it yet, and they're first for the chop.. er trial :)

But you most likely won't get it to play without a steam account which is allowed to play it :)

It will all be auth'ed through the Steam account so whether they send CDs or not is irrelevant. I really doubt that will be happening today, but I believe that the Valve "friends and family" BETA is starting today so this may be where he's getting his information from.

can you explain to us what the "friends and family" beta is.. I have heard nothing about this event.

It is what it says..the CS:S beta for Valve's family members and friends.. (people who have visited Valve)

Well i myself took 21st as the beta start date.

14th as the preload date(CCP should get access that date).

And after the 21st it will last for 2-4 weeks.

I doubt they will saying "It's starting tomorrow". I think they will want to surprise us. So it could be any day.
