have they anounced counter strike2? (not couner strike:source :P I know the difference) because some people are talking about CS2 like it is in development when they are talking about it? :rolling: or are people just calling cs:s for cs2? :dork:

Counter-Strike: Source is not Counter-Strike 2. Counter-Strike 2 is in development at last check...

Yeah me either, god I never would have know CS would have been so confusing...I bet your confused right now, ''Which CS is he talking about, CS, CS:S, CS2, CS:CZ....."

I think CS:S is what we were thinking was Counterstrike 2. Why would they go through the trouble of porting the game to the Source engine, reworking the levels, add physics etc if they were just going to roll out an all-new version afterwards? CS:S is probably the CS "sequel" people have been wanting.

Counter Strike 2...anyone have a link to the story line? IS there a story line developed? If its not single player imma shoot somoene up at VALVe. (That is, if VALVe is creating it...)

CS:S and CS2 are two completely different mods. CS:S is just CS ported to the new engine. CS2 is a completely new mod made from HL2. CS:S will be free to download off steam to anyone who buys a copy of HL2. CS2 has not yet been decided if it will be free or not, more than likely not, as I think they will be selling mods such as DOD2, CS2, etc, seperately like what the mods unleashed, hot date, etc are to The Sims. You'll need to pay for each different mod.
