This is one of the most impressive SP mods I've seen for a long time, ever since Poke646. They recently had a media update after a long hiatus, but because PHL for some reason won't show their update, I thought I'd spread the love around here. People really need to check this mod out and give your support. :)
Here are some screenshots:

The update has new NPC models, weapons and an amazing wallpaper of the Steam background that will be used. The website is here (http://www.hl-nightwatch.net/). This mod has survived a long time, which goes to show how professional and talented these people are. Two of them have already been hired by Raven, who are making Quake 4. :)

Ya, I've really been waiting for this mod, and those screenshots are impressive.Thx for the news.
Planethalflife seems to have been asleep ever since Fragmaster left, they never show updates until its old news and everyone knows about and they havn't mentioned anything about CS:S. Sad really.

I've been following this mod since conception (alright, that's a lie; but I did pick up on it fairly early). I'm an avid player of SP campaigns and this one in particular appealed to me. Better looking, continuing the HL "feel" but including new content; how could it go wrong?
Used to follow DarkTruths as well... and there's a mod that fell flat on its face. Pity really, it looked pretty damn promising. NW, at least, looks destined to rock the HL world...

Hehe, I experienced that one first hand. It wasn't any prettier on the inside of the team either. :P

The leader of the mod got himself a job at Raven Software.

What are the chances of this one being distributed through Steam?

Well, if Sven Co-op can (purportedly) manage it, I'm sure Nightwatch can!
Don't kill me Sven. No... not the face! Sniper, get away from me! I didn't mean it! NO! Please! NOOO.....

Oh how i longed for that mod...Some of the stuff they were going to implement sounded so good.

It never would have happened -- the mod had been going for 3 years, and we hardly had any of it implemented. it was doomed from the start, really, thanks to Tal-N's paranoid, ego-inflated ways.

I still have the meagre collection of video's you guys released... for a while I was genuinely convinced it was going to be the biggest thing since USS Darkstar.
...I DID IT AGAIN! God, no thread is safe from my off-topic-shift special ability. I'd talk more about NW but we can sum it up with "It's good. Release it, and everyone with any brains will download it."

I've followed Nightwatch for some time, as well. I'll play it whether or not it will get released before HL2.
Hmm, the new level shots are swanky. We need these people working for Valve.
