I liked the part where the two zombies where doing a tug-o-war with the barney and he fell over the edge (i guess they were supposed to have ripped his arms off but i don't think the HL engine could do that just yet :-D )
It was little things like these that added to the atmosphere in blue shift

The ending, when you see gordon, also the credits did amaze me, I just started the game 2 hours before.

I thought this was the 'Half-Life 2 Discussion' section...

Half-Life 2 is just the unofficial code-name for blue-shift

- Oh and my favorite part was the whole search for Dr. Rosenberg (I think that was his name). Seeing Gordon at the ending was cool too.

I thought it was funny when you were searching for Rosenburg how you ran into two other scientists that were trapped also.
the 2nd one in the railcar said something like "No i'm afraid i'm not Dr. Rosenburg, but you'll still help me, won't you??"
By that point i was so frustrated with difficult battles against soldiers i blew his freaking head off

I actually thought the end part where your 5 miles outside of black mesa (probably helped when escaping the nuclear shockwave or whatever)
The tunnel was pretty cool... although the part where "your trapped in a harmonic loop" or some fake science mumbo jumbo and your teleporting all over the place... what are the odds that you transport into a storage room where freeman is being dragged
Also i thought it was way cool in the very beginning when your banging on the door you see freeman go by (and how in the first one you saw the barney banging on the door... that was a nice touch :-D )

The best part was when you delete if off your computer.

I particularly liked how all the trainyard layouts were exactly the same, and how Xen was all boxy and linear and ugly.

the best part was the start of the game, before anything happens. it was great to see parts of bm with the staff going about their work. and with all the problems they where having, it was great. "it looks like its gonna be a looooong shift", "you better go check it out calhoun". and if you don't like the game, DON'T FRIGGIN POST:flame:!

In what way? Sure it was short. It was never meant to be another Opposing Force, it was originally intended to be a short expansion for the Dreamcast port, similar to Decay for the PS2 version. I thought it did a great job of being a little add on for HL.

I like the elevator part in the beginning of the game when it goes crashing down. :P

Na, Blue Shift was good, but it was just like a normal mod with some exceptions. I mean, there is no new weapons, no new aliens. The only thing that was new was how to get his armour. Well at least I didn't had to pay for it, I downloaded it from Kazaa.

I also liked the first bit. A dream of mine is a mod that lets me explore the entire BMRF before the accident, complete with scientists, Barney's at various posts and experiments taking place etc.

I like the part in the beginning where Barney crashes with that small transport-train. Quite cool.

The best part was when the soldiers cut through the doorway at the end, when you're waiting for the teleporter to charge. You're like "come on! charge! they're almost through! aaaiiieee!!". That was a tense finale.

Don't we all.
I didn't mind BS at all, but it sure wasn't in the same league as Op4 as an expansion.

I liked Xen in BS. Best Xen yet.
Also, I liked the armour system.
The entire opening sequence was awesome, and the FROG!

BTW, does anyone know where I can find the Blue Shift manual extras?
You know the transfer letter to Blue shift and the schedule. The ones in the manual are printed so small and for some reason the schedule is in french!??

Yeah I did that too.. after he healed me. Favorite part was the elevator scene and searching for rosenburg. I actuallly found that fake wall before I got to him and stocked up on armor and health as it was getting low.
