thats right... now you can play the amazing SWG MMORPG for FREE, over 14 days IF you can be bothered to download 2 gigabites. this has been out for a while to subscribers, but it just went public today.

PLUS there are no wait times as there is a dedicated server set up JUST for SWG downloads, and seeing as only 44 people are stupid enough to try and DL 2 gig, theres loads of spaces on the server.

OMG UL!!! i was 1 min away from a DL once, and i clicked a link, but it opened in the ****ING FILEPLANET DL WINDOW and i had to start again...

but just to let you know, if something like that happens during the download (not the wait) you can usually pick up from where you left off if you start the DL at the same place as where the file is.

1. Spend 3 hours waiting in line at FilePlanet.
2. Spend 6 hours downloading it.
3. Spend 10 minutes installing
4. Play for 20 minutes if it is bugless
5. Uninstall for 10 minutes

I don't really like MMORPG's but I've never played one before. So I figured I might as well go ahead and try it out.

I DLed it sucessfully, and it waas worth the wait (i got it overnight @ 70 kb/s) as it is the WHOLE GAME. the only limitations are that you cant get more than 50,000 credits, but seeing as thats loads i dont care.

I Hated it for the Group TEF, for the idiots that played the game, for the bugs, for the meaningless themeparks, the combat medics that ruined everything, the credit dupers who screwed the economy, the speedhackers, the bugs, the jerky performance, the worthless jedi profession, the krayt pearls campers, the uber guilds drama queens, the bugs, the corvette, the geno caves, the non-existant loot, the bugs, and the "flavor of the month" template riflemen/tera kasi/fencers... There are two things I really liked in this: my guild friends, and the housing system. I spent a lot of time on my house to decorate it just the way I wanted it :E

Well, same thing with Anarchy Online but that doesn't make the game good..

I tried the trial of EVE out, the game isn't really that appealing to me though.. graphics are good and such but it's hard finding out anything about the game in 3 days

ive played it for ages, and ive finally got off tatooine (im playing it with a mate and were talking over microphone as well, makes it more fun). TBH, the games great and all, but playing it for more than 2 weeks could get REALLY boring. im allready starting to get bored after 5 hours or so... i guess ill have to wait and se eif it gets better if i chenge more planets.

I can't install the game.. it says it has to open a browser and get me some key or something, but when the browser opens nothing happens (I'm using firefox btw), and the install sort of crashes but you cant shut it down.. :(

I've notice that fileplanet has a few issues with firefox. That might be your problem.

i like it but i dont love it. if i was to get a MMORPG it would have to be a really good one, and atm i am eying world of warcraft.. it looks 1337

MMORPG's are'nt bad...people auto think "****in 'ell man i godda pay to play a game which i already bought, man this is shit" but they are well worth the cash...i play Neocron (http://www.neocron.com) and it pwns and is a fps MMORPG more or less...has by far the best pvp ive ever tried, better than most FPS games id say because it takes skill and there is no set damage done to you...you have your own resists and its upto you what you do with them. If you have patience you should try this one out as well. :D

Edit/ Just incase anyone does try this game, if you get stuck with patches not patching properly be sure to PM me or something here..its a simple problem that the god damn dev's dont fix and im sure most people dont even try the game because of it....Also i play Uranus and Saturn server if you need any help (bare in mind, im much better off on uranus financially :P )
