Well, this information is based both upon the movies and the leak.
Everything is what it would be in real life. I mean, check the cables up on the telephonesticks (sticks... :) don't know what it's called) and the way wood is.

I remember one time in the leak that I was "wow... wow... wow..." of what I just did. I've put spoilertags on it since some people would probably complain if I didn't.

Writing stuff about what's in the leak is bad by the way. Expect this to be locked.

Of course, some people would complain if you posted any stolen build info at all. :upstare:
The spoiler tags are for non-beta plot points only.

Just say no!

At least he set them in spoiler tags.
But you're right moppe, the physics is excellent from what I have seen anyway!

Yeah, I did the same in the demo. Also your not to discuss the beta under no circumstances. Someone with 147 posts should know that.

Yeah :hmph: I even know that and I have 54 :stare:

Well, I know that.
But I think that the rules have been a little more open regarding talking about the leak. I thought that this would be appcepted.

I believe it is. Could everyone stop being such mop-asses. Either wait for it to be locked, discuss, or stay out of the thread. There's not reason to flame or bitch.

I believe, from reading the long "Did you feel guilty about playing the beta?" thread, someone said that they made a jumpboard out of wood by attaching it to something (With the supposed physgun) and then jumped up and down, supposedly producing extra lift. Another guy, doing the same thing, managed to break the wooden board while jumping on it, and I was like rofl.

I, myself, will wait for HL2 officially before I experience such thrills, but I undoubtedly think it's going to be exactly like walking around outside with a manipulator and a physgun :D.

(Shame on those who can't keep their hands off of HL2!)

Edit: 100:th post. I'm now better then 99 other people!

No, the enforcement of the rules have been a little lax, lately, moppe.

I dont seen any harm in ppl speaking about the beta, as long as it has nothing to do with the actual HL2 story, or something that is vital to it.

I can't wait to screw around with the physics in half-life 2. I haven't experienced realistic physics 'all around' in any other game. Max Payne 2 had PIDDLY physics if you ask me. If I shot a vase, it didn't go flying! ARGH. It was SOOOO dumb.

I'm gonna try everything when I get the game. I think after playing it half-way through i'll try to make a map and screw around and make all knids of weird physics things to have fun. Domino effects, giant bowling ball lanes, you name it!

One thing i'm curious about physics... if the manipulator has a max weight limit, and a car is a certain weight 'near' that weight limit, but not exactly. A little heavier. Can you actually pick up the car and 'drag' it around? like pick up half and the other half is dragging on the gronud? That would be SWEET!

just becuase you dont have a problem doesnt mean that others will feel the same.

besides theres a lot of other (crappier) sites that you can talk about the beta so if you must talk about the leak go to them sites......
