Just a heads-up: Guild Wars E3 demo playable now

I just got done fooling around with it for about 30 mins. It seems very, very cool. Great atmosphere. Beautiful graphics, ran like a dream for me (only dipped to 40 fps in the crowded city of Khylos) and holds alot of promise.

My name in-game is Lord Soundwave, so all of you who will be playing this, add me to your list and we'll go on some missions together or whatever. I am a Ranger/Necromancer.

Found the game to be quite boring. I whooped the shit out of some monsters and it was quite easy. I don't think I'll be playin it anymore but if I'm ever on again my name is Stickerin Mybutt.

I only spent about a half hour on it, and it seemed pretty cool so far. I did a mission with some kind of knights or town guards. We took on a group of renegades and it was pretty fun. The NPCs have voice, or at least those ones did. Then I fooled around with my various skills to see how they were then went to Khylos real quick just to see how bad the performance drop was (wasn't bad at all) and signed off. It seems like a fun rpg though, you can definately tell ex-Blizzard guys had a hand in it.

i think its damn obvious this game was made my people who know how the hell to make games fun. there wasent really anything that was a downer... i liked it a lot. nice scenes, nice graphics, more likeable gameplay than, say, galaxies. ill probably buy it based upon this demo.

I played a coopertive quest with some folks... and WOW, great fun! I like how it reserves items for certain people in the party and that death isn't really a BIG deal. And there was more to it than just 'hit things'! We had to run our asses off away from a huge army... so sweet...

i like it, the only two things that i dont like so far: 1) can't bind keys and i hate that A and D are turn rather than strafe. 2) can't invert mouse. those two things combined make it quite disorienting. oh well its a nice change from WoW.

Guido Josselyne. :o I think it's great fun so far, but we just can't beat the 2nd Charr mission. The big guys always stomp our fighters then pick off our archers :'(
