Art Contest Revamp

Hey guys. As many of you may have noticed, there hasn't been an art contest for a while. This was partly due to the lack of interest that was being displayed and also due to the change in servers. Now that all of the server issues is fixed and everything is back to normal, I think it's time we brought it back. I need some ideas on what we should do though, let me know.

We should do the logo one. We really need people inputting ideas though, perhaps creating a thread where people are only allowed to submit ideas, not discuss them, would help.

How about creatures from Half Life in unusual situations? Going to the bank, at a birthday party, riding the train. That sort of out of context stuff can be really funny.

Re-imagine HL2.net as a building.



Back in the day, when hl2.net was getting up toa thousand people a day, i made a map of how i imagine it would be like...I thought it was rather good but i lost that map with my old harddrive.


I quite liked the ideas about designing a hl2 character, either a main one or just more of a generic enemy, and the one about hl2 characters in odd situations like birthdays etc.
