It's the Hope image.
I've never had a good camera to get it right, but yesterday my dad bought a Nikon D70, so I photographed it.
It's my personal saviour
several times I found meaning in my life by looking that lonely tree.

Taken in my city in the last 15 minutes.
They're talentless, but the city is art in itself.

:( Makes me wish we still lived in Portugal. I only lived there until I was 3, and don't remember any of it, but it's such a beautiful country...
Nice photos :)

It's a nice country, but if that location is correct, you're better off.

Maybe. I can't wait to get out of England though. The problem is that there's hardly anywhere else to go.

Pretty good pictures so far. The one thing I may suggest is trying different perspectives. For example, on the glasses one, try to have a macro of right up next to them. For the tower, try a laying down, looking up at it shot. Good luck!

is the mushroom cloud meant to be lob sided? apart from that, i think it looks pretty cool. Errr, but its a bit disrespectful seeing as how this was a cute little post about a tree that makes soemone feel speacial (or something). nuking it seems a tiny bit disrespectful...:hmph:

Where in England do you live? Is it a town, city or village?
Sorry for being so noseey but im just curious..
Anyway, i quite like the "hope" picture and that nuke one seems...i dunno, good but thats not the right word.
Edit: Could be the wind making it like that...large clouds that form rappidly get blow out of shape rather quickly if there is a bit of wind.

This is probably going too deep but i think it would look better with more highlights around the top edges of the buildings.

If i thought i could acheive that effect without making it look worse...i would try it.
