Looks nice, but then again, high res textures can make anything look nice :)
Downloading the video now :)
Is the lighting fully lightmap or dynamic? Ah well.. I'll see

Fenric, out of all people, I would have expected that atleast you would see that the links are in a HTML format and pasted double in the bar.
Gamershell works fine and the fileplanet one too, can't get the pixelrage on to work though

I used the last one so they all work :)

None of the links worked for me, despite fixing the HTML. Either way, Gamershell and FP hate my guts.

Found a new link! (http://www.computergames.ro/download.php/optiune-download/did-2925/index.html)

Yes,i have noticed that the pictures disappear sometimes...must be that too many people are looking at the images :) ..must find a better host :)

Thank you all for the feedback so far.

The video is pretty impressive, if a little boring. My one crit (besides the low res of the vid, which, of course, you can't help) is the fire, which looks like you've got a bunch of sphere primitives and are alternating which one's texture shows up, which makes it look almost like a crappy GIF.

I've seen it, and it looks very impressive!
The particle system looks amazing, and very versatile. The lightening looks excellent too.
But I second the crit about that fire.

The fire looks better then everything we've seen - severall thousants of particles, with animated textures and complex movement equations, key-frames etc) - it's just that in the movie it resulted like that :(

Why not record a Bink of it instead? Really show it off. Without any worries about artifacts spoiling it.

A BINK would also show off everything at a high resolution, so we can really see the details, many of which were very hazy. If you BINKed it and added some action, that'd be almost HL2 BINK level.

. . . well, maybe not quite, but excellent nonetheless.

Where's the engine specification?

I would like to know more about the tech behind it.

EDIT: I think if there's going to be a benchmark then I'll wait for that instead of downloading the video.

Wow, that engine is cool looking, but imo hl2 looks better... heh...

Man this looks impressive. The last pic looks like a render from a couple of years ago. Even now it would look alright.

I knew 2004 was gonna be a great year...for everything, not just games.

You know this engine looks like it may have that little extra that hafflife had...i dunno, we will hopefully find out soon enough.
