Ok yea I just fired up the demo (eh Ive been addicted to the damn thing since it was released) to play some DM (Ive tried all modes and it happens in all of them), but once I connected to the server my HUD flashed on and off, my weapon was gone, and parts of the environment were disappearing. I thought it was my other programs I had opened up, so I went and closed them and came back but it still happened. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, is there something I can do? I wouldnt make a big deal out of this since it is just a demo, but something similar happened with my copy of ut2k3. Sometimes when I would load it up I would end up running around without a gun or my HUD missing, so I dont want this samething to happen when ut2k4 is released. Ok thanks you guys.

What are your system specs, what DX version are you running and how old are your graphics drivers?

2400 AMD Athlon XP (2.0 GHz)
NVIDIA Geforce4 MX420
512 MB DDR SDRAM
DX9 (I believe..?)

Im not totally sure how old my drivers are, that maybe the problem.

Problem here is that you're running an MX!!!!!!

This is about as good as a GeForce 2, they just gave it a flashy name to con idiots into buying it.

Buy ATI9700 pro for less than £150 at www.overclockers.co.uk

Edit : I meant Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB

Price: £131.50 (£154.51 Including VAT at 17.5%)

Price vs Quality is 10* out of 10*

Why? By the time HL2 comes out there will be a better card so he might as well save for that.

It wasn't an obnoxious comment. It was truthful.

Anyway that was a classic Shokata flick.

I meant it was obnoxious in that, not all people have the budget to go blow it on their computer / their parents dont buy their stuff, although the MX is a horrible range, its there because of it's affordability (it is the budget range).

(also the "flashy name to con idiots" added to it)
