The Sims 2 and MOH: PA have been delayed.
The time period spanning for their launch now is between July and December.
These were 2 of the games I was expecting to help me to plug me in the Winter.
And they're screwed now...

DRIV3R got delayed a little too. Also I heard that DNF has slid back too.
DRIV3R sounds to 1337 for me... And DNF has been sliding for 5 years now, and it's not stopping for awhile yet...

I quite enjoyed the sims, but it didnt have quite enough to keep me palying it. I just install it ever so often, download all the goodies and play for a couple of weeks(The shameless cashing in kinda spoiled it, because each addon was adding a new chair or something. Together they would have been great, but i dont want to buy a million CD's for £15 each). I would quite like to get the sims 2 though, because it looks to have some quite nice features, as well as real 3d graphics.
DNF? What is that? Reminds me of that mythical game that a few whackos talk about. Duke Nukem Forever i think it was called. It cant be though, because that thing never existed and never will...

What the hell is wrong with game manufacturers that they can completely miss their release dates almost every single time? Not too many movies , TV shows , books , CDs or DVDs get 'delayed'. You know , its getting really old , I dont even wait for games anymore because its fcking useless, I dont even buy that many anymore.
EDIT- I hope Hitman 3 doesnt get delayed , its the only game I hope for.

The sad truth about games Dimitri is that they are really, really hard to make, and the level of difficulty only rises every year. Making a game is just really freaking tough to pull off successfully It's a monumental task really, especially for the PC, and especially when you're trying to incorporate the types of features the Sims 2 is shooting for. Delays are inevitable.

The teaser was great, looked like something that came out of Hollywood.
I'm hoping it comes out early.

Heh, Sims is delicious fun occasionally. I generally spawn up a house made up of my old uni pals then wreak havok over their lives for a bit :D
Personally although the sequel looks like it has much better graphics and gameplay, I'm not keen on the lifecycle aspect. I remember creatures had that, and that game was pretty duff. The creatures only had a life cycle of about 15 hours, and by the time you'd managed to teach them to be self sufficent the ****ers usually croaked.

I just make a beautiful house with cheats before that so they have a nice death....

Lol, everybody remember that The Sims was origionally a good game, despite EA's (challenge everything indeed) inisdious milking of the poor cash cow with such rubbish as Makin Magic. A pox upon those who buy all the add-on packs. That said, there's no need to demonize the game...

I palyed the original game for 5 minutes shortly after it was released and after reading one or two good reviews... I knew then it had a black heart. It could no longer be contained in it's own hell dimension and had come devour our very souls and steal our flesh.
It's too late for people like Sulkdodds he's already joined the legions of the undead that now roam the gameing world in search of new unsupsecting prey to infect with words of blasphemy and hatred so foul that they weaken the very fabric that holds this universe together. The dark Sim lord will gather all the expansion packs together and actually install them all on the same computer creating a game of unbelievable menaceing evil that will become more beastly than the sum of it's sickening parts. The Lord of the Sims will use this one game to rule over all of gameing earth and in doing so rape the very essense of these lands and cast them into an eternal darkness that can only be undone by the destruction of the one game, The Sims 2 must be annihilated at all costs.

Delay Delay Delay. lol everygame I can think of bar D3 and Far Cry have got valve fever.. although HL2 release isnt far off , we think.. . Im holding my head high for games that hit there release date,. but its proving that announcing these games early seems more like a preview, and hype tactic. and now for sure im convinced.. but it seems to be pissing most people off... but does that make us want it more..???

no way, i wanted HL2 much more before the delay. partially because i just get bored thinking about one thing for more than a couple of months, but also because it's no longer as impressive as it would have been in september (after seeing other next gen games). i can't say i'm looking forward to it anymore than farcry or stalker personally as far as FPSs go.

The game I'm looking forward to the most is Ninja Gaiden.
I've been waiting 12 years for this game to be redone, and after I have played it through, I know I can die a happy man.
