Far Cry vs HL2

Far Cry sure looks like a fun shooter, but more in a Serious Sam-fun kinda way, not the intelligent fun that Half-Life had, and HL2 probably will have.
Furthermore, the multiplayer sucks, and granted we don't know anything about the one of HL2, but they're keeping it a secret for a reason, a pleasant one I suppose.

I think HL2 will outclass Far Cry in the terms of storyline, graphics, AI, physics and NPC interaction, and probably more. But fun is subjective, maybe you'll find Far Cry more fun than HL2.

But I don't think they can be compared yet since we don't know exactly what will come out.

But previewing, HL2 will annihilate FC all the way.

dont under estimate far cry and Its 'beta' demo. I think there uncompareable really, there fps's with completely different styles and story's, there both awsome looking games, the FC demo is spanking fun, and I cant wait to have whole Islands to explore, beach's and Jungles. sneaking about or going full force at marines.. . havnt played HL2 obviously, but I do want HL2 more than FC.. it easy to slate other excellent prgramming and designing. if your a HL2 fanboy,, ;).. im not saying im not one :P

Half-life 2 my have a better story (we don't know yet because they are keeping it secret) but far cry may spoil the tech side of things and gameplay that halflife2 will have that far cry also implemented. I have played the demo of far cry and read every single preview on it and I am extremely excited for far cry. It looks to be a game at the top of the list and so will halflife 2 I am sure of it, but until we see it, I will gladly enjoy far cry.

IF the game is decent, keygens won't work for online play, they'll only allow access to SP.

I have tried many games Such as COD, MOH, SWs, Halo,..etc. they all work online.

Oh yes Sometimes it says that your cd key is been used by other person, But it will work if you hit refresh Twice.

Im not impressed with farcry....id much rather have BF:V for the whole jungle atmosphere and stalker and doom3(hl2 more than anything).

I might consider it if the reviews are good and everyone says its spectular....

but as of now...i have no intention to buy it...or follow its progress.

whatever it was, i agree...i'm not one to call someone a jew because that's ignorant, but i share sabre89's contempt for g0rgon. if i was an admin, i'd ban him for all the spam posts he makes and all the times he brags about warezing good games and playing them online....he never shuts up about warez.

not only that, but his signature contains a large list of games called "my games"...whatever "my games" means...a bunch of them aren't even out yet...god...this forum could easily do without.
