and i though it would be fun but i cant seem to enjoy it..its just a deathmatch between aliens and marines...ooooo..original...

they should have never introduced combat

Ehmm... how can a 3.0 be beta? aint x.0 usually a release? Oh wait... I dont care :)

Havent tried it yet though, gotta do that some time :)

I downloaded and it complained...that's ****ed up, because steam is ****ed up! grrr...

You can input all your HL mods to STEAM.

There is a way, but I don't play HL anymore so...

that was not what I asked...the problem is that I don't use steam, is there a normal install version of 3.0

Most mods don't right?

Forgive my ignarance, I just hate HL multiplayer.

lol. I don't think there's a non-Steam installer, but I've heard you can get it working on WON with the same installer. It has some bugs though.

Anyway, almost all HL mods can be played without Steam and there is still a wealth of non-Steam servers. DoD, CS, Sven CO, TS and NS are all perfectly playable without Steam - and I know. I play them.

As for Natural Selection, I haven't yet played the 3.0 version, but I'm confident in saying that 2.0 was the best mod for HL EVER. It's the perfect blend of hi-octane action and tactics and guess what? It actually required good teamplay.
