View Full Version : FarCry: On top of the mountain, around the island screens

The FarCry thread was dealing mostly with troubleshooting and downloading issues, and as so many people wanted to get to the mountain and around the island, I thought I'd save those who haven't yet the trouble. Here's a zip with a few screenshots of my excursion around the island and up on the mountain (there are three peaks on the island, actually, but the one I went up is the main one, behind the radar dish).

Included is a readme with some more info on what is to be found. Enjoy!

There's a bunker behind the radar that makes my game crash whenever I get near it. Have you been in it?

I can never make it to the exit of that tunnel, It always jush shows the flames coming out right when I'm like a meter away from the openening.

been there, done that. I tried getting the buggy up there but the fickle thing explodes too easy.

Hold 'z' to sprint ;) Also, it doesn't show your guy jump out, which is wierd.

A little help:

"one is a small arms weapon, perhaps a shotgun" = Jackhammer

"another is a rifle-type with a scope, albeit with less of a zoom than the sniper rifle" = OICW

"and the final one is some sort of turret machine gun." = Minigun

hmmm... look, i found a floating tree. u drive left when the game starts to find it. it floats!!! but it doesnt talk. but it does float!!!
