Tribes: Vengeance (it does look sweet, not really a tribes player but the exosuit armor looks awesome)

VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE: BLOODLINES (Ohhhhh yes, this is top on my list... source engine +vampires? OWNED)

"Meh" games: games that could go either way really.

-Stalker (could go either way.. the terrain is impressive, the models physics animations etc are not (in my opinion)

-Battlefield: Vietnam (looks to be a PLASTIC rehash of bf1942 with some sparse trees.. the animations and models look abhorent)

-Unreal Tournament 2004 (it was looking cool until they broke backwards compatibility... err no it wasnt, Im getting tired of these rehashes.. unreal tournament = unreal tournament 2k3 = unreal tournament 2k4 = ... you get the idea ) oOOH we added vehicles VIOLA cliche. :(

-Painkiller (this isnt that bad, it could go either way.. pretty cool... or ultra cheesy. and IM not really a Serious Sam fan so that doesnt help... however I like the theme)

-Halo 2 (was a huge halo fan.. but can they make a game good enough to warrant me setting up my xbox.... its hard to play on it after playing on my ultra system... things look ghetto to me on xbox now)


WISH LIST: (these are games I wish existed)

-Return to castle wolfenstein 2 (no rumors besides what was posted here, but I would love to see it)

-Clive Barker's Undying 2 (this will probably never happen, but a man can dream cant he?)

-Half Life 2 (who knows lol.. at this point its COMING SOON aka within the next couple millenia.. if it isnt delayed... oops too late) :)

-Alien VS Predator 3 (you all know you want it)

-Quake 4 (yeah this one exists but we dont know anything about it yet... well not really)

-Grand Theft auto 4 (not vice city, the next GTA)

-Diablo 3 (not really a D2 player but I would like to see what they do with it.. even though I think Blizzard north dissmantled aka creators of D2 and D1)

-Starcraft 2 (warcraft is fun... but waaaay too cartoony)

-The next true Command and Conquer / Red Alert (not this realistic Generals crap.. although Generals in its own right was great)

-Blood 3 (oooh yes, "its time to play kiddies the bad man is here" or "Im gonna beat you like a red headed step-child" - blood 2: the chosen) Caleb is way too cool a character for his series to die.

-Duke Nukem Forever (aka Duke Nukem: Developement time = Forever. still would be curious what broussard keeps yapping about, saying they have the next revolution in gaming in their hands... good marketing ploy though)

Gamespots preview/first look/impressions and interviews (and videos and screenshots) were all horrible, most notably ..
how could they release screenshots with "african american" men with white hands?!.. in some cases PINK hands. and wrist watches made of 4 pollys....

dont get me wrong.. I own Bf1942 and all 3 of its expansions I also play Desert Combat on a regular basis (although I been having more fun with the WW2 planes in BF lately) I Like the gameplay... but it feels all wrong.
it doesnt feel right in terms of controls, gameplay, animations etc.
that doesnt make it a bad game, it just gnaws at me when I play it.
giving Dice the benefit of the doubt, they are getting better and better with each patch.
cant wait for version 1.6

some aspects of BF:V do look nice, however nowhere on par with other next gen games.... of all the next gens its probably the least evolved (graphically).... as I said Ut2k4 pisses me off because its a simple REHASH. Battlefield:V seems the same.

however I would like to learn more about it, so if you have some links that makes it look better / a more in-depth look. I would love to check it out.

I'm also a total Battlefield junkie, but I've never gotten tired of it. Lord knows its not perfect, but I can hardly start criticizing the sequel before its even finished. The mismatched models and animation issues aren't from the finished game or anything, and I doubt they'll make it any less fun.
