Your new background

I was posing some Alyx in Gmod, and I thought: Hey, this would make a great background with a bit of editing! So thats what I did. About an hour of posing and 30 minutes screwing with Photoshop editing. Theres two versions, try out which one you like.

I'll break my usual posting habits and try to help:

Just some things off hand...

1. Blurred... why? It looks bad, it's disorienting, it ruins what should be the focus of the image, it makes no sense
2. The HL2 logo. My god man, what were you thinking? Should be just the orange on black logo. Why is it all blurred and shitty? Can you not see that it looks bad? Why would you post something you know looks bad? You're just wasting everyone's time and making it look like you don't give a rat's.
3. The text is probably the least horrible part. Not in the best position though, most people have their icons on the left. That's kind of nit picky though.
4. I believe the resolution you are looking for is 1024x768. Not 1022x767. (How did this happen?) Which brings me to another note, nobody uses desktop resolutions that small anymore.

And lastly, why would you name your thread like this? Even if you did a great job, don't publicly assume everyone is going to like your wallpaper and use it.

Only I am allowed to do things like that.

I took a straight up screenshot that looks a grazillion times better those that without even trying. And all it took was <1 second to hit the screencap button and <10 seconds in MSPaint to convert it to jpg
