Call of Duty 5 any good?

I have been tempted to buy it but i hear it's ridden with issues at the moment.
I hear patch 1.4 is going to be released soon.
I think i am going to wait until then and see. For now, how does the game compare to COD 4? Are the perks and unlockables (if there are any) comparable to Modern Warfare?
I Am a sucker for Co-op modes. Is it any good in this game? Thanks.

Alright alright.

Single player was very mediocre, co-op isn't even fun. Nazi Zombies is pretty shit too. Multiplayer was decent at first but it got really old very quickly.

Really it's a decent FPS but it is a shameful rip off of COD 4. If I were to rate the COD games in order treyarchs are definitely at the bottom.

The first was damn awesome. 5 was average but a huge step up from 3. 2 was alright but felt really loose and kind of unfinished. 4 was definitely the best, especially from a multiplayer standpoint.

Of course the real shame is that treyarch are responsible for one of the greatest triumphs of the CoD series, United Offensive. Why can't they repeat that marvel of a game (or rather, expansion pack)?

I found that COD4 just felt smoother. COD 5 was very clunky with slow acceleration. It just felt off.

Their all lying, this game is amazing. Not better than CoD 4 but still good, the guns are alright exept for the bolt action rifles which suck hard and I always avoid them, but otherwise decent guns. Most of the perks are the same like Juggernaut, 2nd Chance/Last Stand and Martydorm plus a few more, the maps are alright, it depends on what you like in a map.

Actually that wasn't treyarch that was grey matter interactive. They later merged with treyarch but were still different devs

It's fun but nothing amazing. I like to play it on live with my roommate and friends. It's fun to have 6 people together, you've basically got your own party.

Why do so many of you hate this game... I really enjoy it
