Well, this is either going to appeal to you, or........ not appeal to you, if you like action figures, it probably will.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has any of the NECA Player Select figures?
If you are not familiar with NECA, they are basically McFarlane Toys, if McFarlane Toys was still good.
They just recently announced licensing for Dead Space, Prototype, and Devil May Cry figures.
I'm pretty excited to see the Issac Clark figure, but here is Alex from Prototype-
http://www.toywiz.com/prototypealex.html
They also have others, some God Of War Figures I'm not familiar with, Lara Croft, Hitman and then they have lines of figures such as Gears of War.
Anyways, I'm hoping they get more licensing to do figures, because I'd like a little collection of characters from my favorite games on display.
Obviously, I want to see a deluxe box set of Big Daddy and Little Sister, and Gordon Freeman appear in their lineup sometime in the future, but I don't think Valve will be handing that out so quickly.

I've posted this too many times to the point where the joke is becoming redundant, nevertheless I'm goin to do it again...cause the likes of you may never see such a thing again.

I don't much care for action figures but I'd be lying if I said the video game industry didn't have quite a few characters I'd love to have.

Used to collect toys when I was younger.
I have a couple of Spawn figures, Star Wars, and Alien/Aliens figures.
Might take pics when I feel like unpacking the rest of my shit.

If you are trying to imply that he in fact meant DOG, you are wrong.
And, AND if he did in fact mean DOG, (which I thought he may have meant) he is stupid, because he is referring it to as "A Dog" when DOG is the name of the character. It would be like saying "I wish I had A Mchammer" (NOT LIKE I WOULD)
And, AND, because DOG is a robot and could not bite because he doesn't have a mouth.

No he means nerds don't know what a vagina is or whatever. The joke is carried over from the image dump. I have seen many collectible figures of game charactars in various stores and I had always wanted some of them. I just did not want to look like a complete loser in front of the people I was with so I passed up those chances , I really wish I had not now.

I ****in HATE toys.
I came into this thread to talk shit about NECA's Player Select line. Aside from Raziel the entire line has been lackluster; they haven't produced any figures that I like, some of them are statues rather than action figures, and they handled the Street Fighter line like shit. (Roid rage Ryu, grinning Ken He-Man, bug-eyed Chun Li and all the other failures they've shown in that line) In fact aside from their Turtles line, the NBC line, and the awesome awesome awesome Coraline I finally found last night that was buried under some Mega Bloks in a Toys R Us shopping cart, I don't care for NECA at all.
But now it doesn't matter what I think about this thread's original topic. You are a monster. A monster who has no childhood spirit left. A person like you can never know the joy of collecting a figure from a franchise you like. The thrill of hunting down an extremely rare figure. The wonder of posing a figure who has the perfect range of articulation. People like you who hate on the childlike joy of action figures are evil! An evil that cannot exist in this world! An evil that I cannot forgive! AN EVIL THAT MUST BE PUNISHED!
With five of the rarest figures on planet Earth, these six who are valued at over $1500 on eBay will send you straight to hell!
ULTIMATE MEGA SMASHER!

I have some nice action figures, but I can't really afford that many. I have Frank from Donnie Darko, Batman, Scarecrow, Angel, a Sentinel and a couple of Doctor Who ones. :E

I hope the Dead Space Issac has all his limbs removable n' shit. That would be awesome. 'Course, that would mean he might have to be one of those fully moveable figures and not a more detailed one-pose figure.
If I had the money, there's a whole bunch of toys I would buy. The McFarlane range comes to mind, most notably The Thing and Aliens models, as well some of military range. I'd quite like some of the Halo figures, too.

Wait a minute, I agree that NECA Player Select is a lackluster, but I would by no means say NECA is a disappointment.
First, their version of movie maniacs (cult classics) are much more unique/diverse/interesting.
I mean, you not only got Ash, but you got GROCERY STORE ASH, you got Frank The Bunny, you got Beetlejuice, Phantasm, Flyboy from the original Dawn of The Dead.
Tons of characters McFarlane never touched and instead concentrated on shit like Shaft and Species.
SECONDLY, no mention of their Ghostbuster line, from you?!?? That line was soo kickass, I am just ashamed for only owning a slimer bobblehead and not getting the slimer and Stay-Puffed Marshmelloman when I had the chance. But mostly ashamed of you for not approving of them.
On a more minor note, their cartoon Hellboy lines were very awesomely sculpted.

Statues. And out of all of those the only one I ever thought about picking up was Beetlejuice.

The Mattel line will be far superior.

Hm, I'll agree to this. I forgot those were NECA.
Also Lucid you can get that Frank on eBay for $12.

I do, I've got scarecrow, I think that's it. I really regret not buying their first Batman of that line.
But WHATEVER, Neca sculpts way, way, way better.
Edit: Egon is well done, Slimer and Ray are not that good-

Have you seen the protos for the Mattel line? They look amazing.
Besides, NECA does stactions. They're really more statues than figures, and when they do have poseability it usually sucks. The exceptions are the NBC figures they make, but I've got some of their AvP figures and they're pretty garbage.

Big Daddy actually looks good. Wish it came with a Little Sister instead of those coming with the Big Sisters. I don't care about those at all. Also ZT did you see that NECA made a prop ADAM extractor? I don't know if they plan to sell it.

''Sneak preview''? What, that it's suit is green, as opposed to the colour of Big Daddies from the original Bioshock which look pretty much the same? Still cool mind, and I'm not digging on it, just don't get the label.

I didn't see NECA's, however I did see the one that the guy made who also made the Portal Gun.
Edit: Oh, here. I see they also have a life sized Eve Injection that looks like it may come with one of the figures, hmm.

I don't really understand what you are trying to say here. The package says "Sneak Preview" because before they release figures in stores they usually display them at a convention like comicon, hence the one you see in the photos was a sneak peak of what is to be on shelves.

I thought it meant it was a sneak preview of a Big Daddy from Bioshock 2. From what I gather there are meant to be some new Big Daddies in B2, I presumed it might of been trying to imply this is a early look at one maybe. I don't know. My bad.

I am in a bit of a dilemma. I just got my Big Daddy Order From Amazon. However, on the package it says "Sneak Preview", which implies that the figure I have is the one that was released before the official one, so it might be rare...
Dunno if I should open it.
