Is there a free alternative to Fraps that isn't the Fraps free version.
Also are there any programs that can record Wii and Xbox 360 gameplay?

well i know theres some way you can record demos and save them as avi, but ive never been able to figure that out myself. as for the wii/360 you need a capture card or TV tuner card.

WeGame was a really good program for me, up until it just stopped working after like two weeks of me using it. I should probably try it again.

Does WeGame create video formats though? Like AVI/WMV/MPEG or do you have to upload to their website?

I read just last week about a video recorder that sounded really interesting but I have forgotten the name of it. The cool feature about it what that if you had a good frag or moment to record but didn't have the program running, it could still go back and record it. Does that make sense? IE: I have a triple headshot but wasn't recording, the program can still go back and record it.
Anyone know what it is called?

If you want to record something in a game that runs on the Source engine just use Source Recorder.

I just read about it too but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called.

What sound card do you have? Is it a Creative something-or-other?
