Well today on my day off, i decided too catch up on some guitar hero world tour.
i was getting into parabola on hard because expert is too hard, jamming hard haha until i started missing notes i was Saying F**k This Shit, this is B**ls**t, i calmed down and of couse restarted parabola untill i missed one note and cracked, i smash the guitar against the the ground and keep smashing it against the wall, i threw the guitar out the window and started playing some cod4 multiplayer but one story short i found the whammy bar lodge into the wall and mess outside my house.

I bought Guitar Hero 3. And it was made of 100% shame and 110% ultimate fail so I traded it for Fable 2.

To OP...I've came close to being that frustrated, but it wasn't the games fault. I was just in a bad mood to begin with.

Luckily, I know how expensive those fkn guitars are, and do my best to keep them safe....

I play both and Rock Band/Guitar Hero is still damn fun...

I don't get how idiots can go "OMG GO PLAY A REAL GUITAR FFS" and try to compare a guitar shaped hunk of plastic with actually playing guitar.

I never managed to enjoy Guitar Hero, as I have played guitar before it came out. I suppose that driving a real racing car is more fun than racing games too.

I have played the full band thing with my family and it was hilarious. Don't think that people shouldn't play the game just because they're not using a real instrument. Sure, it's heavily simplified ('cept the drums) but it simulates playing in a really big concert which few people would get to do even if they did learn guitar. It's like saying people shouldn't play racing games because you might as well go drive. The controls are heavily simplified except you're likely to be playing in some sort of championship event, which makes it satisfying.

Actually it's cheaper to get a starter guitar with an amp than a full Rock Band/GHWT kit

I'm a fan of Rock Band. Got World Tour, and they just packed too much extra things. I bought the game to play the musical portion, not play The Sims with my character.

It isn't the Sims unless you can drown someone in the pool. Which would be pretty appropriate for a Rock Band game too.

I don't see why you can't enjoy playing an actual instrument and enjoy playing GH:WT.

I've been playing the drums for about nine years and i love playing the drums on GH:WT because it makes for a much quieter practice session on Expert. With the exception of the hi-hat pedal of course. Other than that though, you're pretty close to playing the actual drums for a song if you can play it on expert in GH:WT. The only thing is sometimes they haven't programmed all the bass kicks because some songs have double-bass kicks and the bass pedal that comes with the kit is shite.
