Need some help with Photoshop

Could someone help me, im having a problem with that whenever im trying to make a border around a pic/whatever else you do by the borders and when i paint the color goes into the edges so you cant see them.


If anyone wants a better description tell me and ill try to post one, i have absolutely no idea how to fix this.

Well your post doesn't make much sense to me lol.

If your trying to make a rectangular border around the pic, just hit ALT+A(selects entire canvas), then go to Selection/modify/border, edit how wide you want the border to be, then hit ALT+BACKSPACE to fill it.

Now, i dont have PS installed on this comp, so my menu directions(Selection/modify/border) might be off a little.

I dont need help any more, Fenric helped me with it so now its fixed, but thanks for trying anyway.
