Pandemic II

This is a great/addicting game. Though you do have to spend a lot of time waiting, you get to buy symptoms for your virus/bacteria/paricite and infect the entire world with your disease. I recommend starting out on realistic settings with a virus, being that that is considered the easiest and fastest way to beat it. Though there really is no way to beat the game, when you have killed al of the infected, o everybody on the planet you get a GAME OVER screen.

Anyways, the game is fun, and the music is delightfully eerie, so have fun.

I would try buying tiers of symptoms and selling them all until you have enough money to buy the ones that work the best, without making your disease noticeable. The coughing and sneezing symptoms are a bad idea, so don't buy those.

Pretty easy game. I infected and then wiped out everywhere except Japan first try.

Greenland, Australia, and Japan are really hard to infect if you don't start out there.

Hm, I can't manage to infect everyone. I even invested only in the development of the virus' endurance on one attempt, so the infectivity, lethality and visibility bars were empty, but the disease still spread quite well and people noticed it and closed their shipyards and airports. WTF.

Madagascar is one of the hardest things to infect
At the slightest sign of a infection they close EVERYTHING down thus making it impossible to infect them
Insects rodents water-borne anything
It's near impossible to get them

I had the most success when I didn't do anything until everyone, but Madagascar, were infected. That's when I used my accumulated over 150 evolution points to unlock all the tiers and buy some diseases. I'm not sure if I even bought any of the four ways of spreading the virus. Then it was just waiting for everyone to die.


Except for Madagascar that is.

This game takes freaking forever.. I left it running for 20 minutes waiting for everyone to die. At the end I was buying random symptoms to just make people's lives more miserable.

It takes forever just to get evolution points. Sometimes I get a shitload so fast and other times it took forever.

I was playing this game at school, and I left it on when I went to do some sound recording, I come back and it's off, the teacher exited it out, so I start yelling 'WHAT THE ****, WHY?', he says 'it looked like spam', the kid beside my computer said 'dude you had like 100 evo points, too. I'm pretty sure madagascar was infected, too.

Needless to say I'm glad that was my cool teacher, he just laughed and called me a nerd-linger for playing Pandemic 2 so much (it's all I do at school, in that class when I'm bored). I snapped.

I haven't had a problem with Madagascar in the few games I played.

Greenland hospitals are ridiculous though. Even with 2 people living, both infected, they stay open. Did so until I wiped the mother****er out.
