And I don't have a Xbox 360 Data migration kit! Well, it was on special at my local EB for 50$ and it still has a warranty on it for up to 30 days in-store so I figured why not! Anyway, it didn't come with a Xbox 360 Data migration kit, and the store didn't have any either. So what I'm wondering is if anyone here has the Xbox 360 Data migration kit to spare?
I'll cover shipping or whatever. I checked eBay, and they are outrageous for something that should be free. Also, I was thinking before even checking that I could get the free kit from MS, but apparently, you need to have an Elite and a Premium serial number. In other words, it's basically only for those who upgrade.
Either way, does anyone happen to have a kit? I'll have sexual fantasies with you and whatever you want.
Basically, I have a 50$ paperweight at the moment. Hope to see some good replies! :D
Thanks HelpLife2.net!

Wow. They are not kidding with giving the consumer "choice" this generation. If you want to buy a new proprietary hard drive for your system, then that is your choice. It is also your choice whether or not to spend more money to keep your old data. :rolling:
Would this potentially be fixed with a "backup data" option in the NXE? Does anyone know for sure? It would certainly seem a prudent additional functionality....

Well, apparently, when you purchase a new one, you get the Data Migration Kit, but if you don't and you buy a new Elite, then you are screwed and have to mail MS to get a DMK.
Anyway, if anyone has one, ANYONE at all. Please let me know.

It's no big deal now. I found someone from another forum who had one, so he is going to ship it to me and I'm going to pay the shipping. Glad I found a considerate person!
You could just cope without the saves, download loads of RB2 DLC and be done with it.
