It will probably turn out to be worth it. The F.E.A.R. name is pretty hot since it was GOTY a few years ago.

Good good. Should be less confusing for people who don't know the details of the split-up. Although there will probably still be some head-scratching about how the hell the game ties in with the two expansion packs, which, of course, it doesn't.

Strangely enough, Project Origin was the first title I thought of when they wanted a new game. Never thought they'd actually use it though. Still, I wish they got a better name than just "FEAR 2", because I'm rather tired of seeing games, movies and things have a 2 slapped on them rather than an interesting or thoughtful title. I hope that they actually try to add something new to the game, rather than rehash the same crap over and over like the last two expansion-crap.
