A Challenge! (Trying to remember some games)

So, I've been reminded of three games from yesteryear that I played. Can't recall the names of any and it's driving me nuts. So, let's see if any of you can help.

First game: for the Amiga, a side scrolling platformer where you play as a man transformed into an ape who shoots fireballs out of his mouth. You have to rescue your girlfriend from an evil wizard or something. (No, it's not Chuck Rock).

Second game: Mega-Drive (or Genesis for everyone else), this game had you control a large blue intergalactic alien fighting robot, who carried a gold sword. Gameplay was split, Streets of Rage style through the levels, at the end of each level you fought a boss in similar form to a Street Fighter type beat-em-up.

Thrid game: Mega-Drive again, Street Fighter type beat-em-up with a fantasy twist. As I recall, it had a wizard called Xavier.

Any help would be great. :)
