what do you lot think about Franz Ferdinand? I just downloaded their debut album, and they got some damn good tracks on it.

I only heard a couple of songs, to much hop, not enough rock i think.
But there have been some bands that i have grown more attached to after repetitive listens.

I love their first album. Auf Achse reminds me of Perfect Dark and is thus awesome.

Not nominating them for band of the century or anything, but they're usually fun to listen to and occasionally trot out some good ideas and homages.

Honestly, if Franz Ferdinand had stopped the car after the first assassination attempt, we could have gotten out of this whole World War thing.

WWI would've happen even if good ole Franz hadn't been shot. The tensions and lust for war in Europe were far too high. If his assassination hadn't triggered it, something else would.
