Like I said, neither side were exactly saints during the Cold War. Interfering, self-centred busybodies who didn't care about anything other than spreading their own ideology while preventing the other from doing so.

Nazi Germany had similar propaganda claiming Britain and the USA to be evil capitalist imperialists. The whole point of propaganda is to label the other side as bad.

I love those kinds of posters. I remember a Russian poster about the Nazi regime that had a stylized tiger fighting a bear, and the bear had stuck some kind of tool into the tiger (some farm tool probably).

thats because like the soviet logo of hammer and sickle is to represent the people power and all that

just like in american poster they allways mention freedom and democracy and all that stuff
