patience my friend.

looks ok, I dont like the cartoony look, and I think the specular reflection on the tentacles can be a bit more sharper so it looks more wet and slimy.

Send that picture into id Software, they'll give you a job for sure - It's completely their style.

(spiders with upside-down heads, flying skulls that are on fire etc.)

Looks pretty good, just wanted to point out his ear is cut off along with his right arm though. Some white space between them and the body. This could be intentional, but if not...just wanted to point it out :).

I just got a wacom tablet, so I went kinda nuts....i drew for 10 hours yesterday. lol, my hand hurts.

Thanks for your comments guys! (btw the blurring isn't a filter, i sketch stuff in really rough first with a medium sized airbrush tool with low opacity...then slowly sharpen up the image as i go along...in this case i just left the one arm as i first sketched it to try and do a depth of field thing)
