Though it'd be nice with a thread like this too.

Would you agree with me if I said that Limbizkit's version of Behind Blue Eyes is better? Probably not since you are a huge fan of "The Who." But it's definitely one of the more decent covers of a famous song out there.

I remember this Johnny Cash cover of this NIN song was pretty good, "Hurt" I think.
EDIT: Sevendust did a fantastic cover of this song, in their own way.

Wut?

I like them a lot, but I wouldn't call myself a "huge fan", where did you get that from? But yeah, Who's version kicks ass.

Agreed.

I'm quite fond of Alkaline Trio's cover of Rooftops by Hot Water Music. I can't think of much else right now, which is odd. :/

Gary Jules's version of Tears for Fears' Mad World is, of course, fantastic. Another cover I really like is Nonpoint's cover of In the Air Tonight.

Also 'Turning Japanese' covered by Incubus.

'Come to Daddy' covered by The Dilliginger Escape Plan is also decent, if a bit muddy though.

Oh and obviously http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzX4YPRkhk0

FFS I can't just link to a youtube video, even if I embed the link into a word? That's so stupid. I don't want to go looking like a huge pretentious cock by taking up all this space with what is supposed to be a subtle link.

Damn you Munro.

One of my favorite Disturbed songs is a cover of Sevendust's Black:

I've got a copy from a different concert that's much better quality, but you get the idea:
