Skin change, re-key-entry?

Everytime I change Steam's skin, it asks for my CD key again. Has this happened with you before?

Never happened to me, and i have changed skins many times.

perhaps another Steam bug... showing that Steam isn't quite so ready for a HL2 release.. :(

up until the other nite Steam and the games were working fine, but then there was a small update i noticed Steam downloading..

after that.. the top portion of the screen would be messed up every time i went into a game.. anyway, i played around with the settings all of yesterday and most of today and *somehow* fixed the problem.. for now. don't ask me how :p

I haven't had a single problem with steam yet :S On my good ole 56k
