You've sort of got it reversed, quite frankly Nintendo online sucks.
I've tried using it on my Wii, it's honestly utter shit.
You don't know who you're playing, there's little to usually no chat, you have lag regardless of location or internet speed, and the few friends you do add will almost never be on.
It sucks.

I'd kill to have X-Box nostrils. Imagine all the cocaine you could snort with those in under a minute.

And that's why the 360 fanboy in the comic is stating that online matters, referring to Xbox Live :/

Oh wait, I've got it reversed.
You might want to word your comics better cause I thought he was referring to the other person as "gameplay", and you just used horrible grammar by using periods instead of commas.
You might want to say "gameplay is the way to go" instead of just "gameplay", it makes it much easier to understand.

But what exactly is the punchline?
Not sure I get it.

I think that using bluray as a selling point for a console is rather funny, but I didn't need the comic to tell me

I was actually trying to keep the punctuation really simplistic.

I guess the punchline is that the poor Sony fanboy is left out this gen.

I rather agree.

See, my dad is always making terrible puns, and it makes me cringe. Now I am doing it to you.

So this is, quite literally, you trying to get over insecurities stemming from yoyu father's bad sense of humor? Oh wow.
