2. The building destruction don't look all that good from the playable demo IGN was given very recently
3. It's his actual accent, the guy doing the Swedish voiceover is one of Swedens most famous actors.

I didn't think it looked that good in this video. Destructibility seems to be more a case of building intact / building destroyed and nothing in between.

Repetative aint it. If the missions on every level are very varied etc then it will be fine, but if its the same ol' chopper, tank, AA gun scenerio then Ill pass.

The coop should be fun though.

The gameplay you linked to... I understand it's not supposed to be a realistic game but still it's over-the-top. So by throwing a nade inside the tank, you kill the crew, but leave the tank steering devices intact and can drive it around... Or maybe I'm just nitpicking.

The game looks very consolish in a bad way. And the engine seems a bit crap as well - the animations, ragdolls (were there even ragdolls there?), a mix of good and bad graphics.

You are. If that stuff truly bothers you, you're looking at the wrong game. The overpowered characters and weapons are what bring me back to Mercs 1 rather than other open worlds such as GTA

The interfaces and menus and huds in the game just wreak of of consolism.
