After playing D2 for a bit, I'm really hankering for games like it.
Somewhat good games that is.
I tried the Titan Quest and Dungeon Siege demos awhile back and they're pretty fun but I'm not entirely sure I'd dish out the cash for them.
So yeah, just list any games that are like Diablo in the hack n slash action sense.

Dungeon Siege is good for a while, but I found it got old a lot faster than Diablo somehow. I played a little bit of Dungeon Siege 2 and it actually seemed quite fun, if graphically uninspired. Plus it has, you know, classes. Didn't really dig the whole skill system from the first one.
Titan Quest... eh, just didn't do anything for me. TOO much of a Diablo clone, if that's possible.

Dungeon Runners.
Basically WoW/Diablo mix with humorous overtones.

Also, can't get the best items without a subscription, but you can buy a 6 month thing + some special shit at the store for $20... I might actually pick it up. Only $5 a month normally.

Yes, Titan Quest is a barrel of fun with friends. I sometimes play it with people over Hamachi LAN (virtual LAN over internet).

Just uninstalled a Diablo clone, Sacred, although I wouldn't recommend it. The most annoying thing was probably how easy it is for you to die since health potions for some reason cost 1800 gold as opposed to 50 or 60 or whatever it costs in Diablo. On the other hand there is no punishment for dying (you keep all your money and items) although you get teleported to some town too damn far away from where you need to be, and whenever you try to go back to where you were before enemies keep spawning on the road there so you're stuck in a never-ending cycle of being killed by ever-spawning enemies while trying to get to some place to actually advance in the damn game.

This times infinity!
Dungeon Siege 2 is very good, and much better than the first, but I never finished it - only got about a third of the way through. It's a surprisingly fun game, but the character development just isn't as interesting as what you get in Diablo. Combat consists mostly of holding the same key over and over. The special attacks are cool, but you can't use them nearly enough. There just isn't quite enough to differentiate all the character classes from one another.

I think
Darkstone
was a diablo clone. I remember playing a demo of it years ago and enjoying it.

Bump.
I'm dling the Sacred demo after watching a few videos, seems like it'll be exactly what I want.
It's only $10 on Steam... and there seems to be a decent following so the MP shouldn't be too barren.
Titan Quest was meh, gorgeous graphics but it didn't click with me.

Been playing Dungeon Siege 2 and it's quite good, repetitive but addictive. Only complaints being that it's too linear and too easy. I even got a difficulty hack to make it challenging but then it got too hard. D:

Try out different D2 mods instead:
Eastern Sun (doesnt work on 1.12 tho)
Median Mod
Hell Unleashed (this mod even came with a german pc gamer magazine dvd)
I find it funny that most action RPG's that have been released since the original Diablo came out, always get clumped together & called a "Diablo Clone".... Well A few "Diablo Clones" I have enjoyed since Diablo came out are as follows. Some listed below are more 3D than the older 2D isometric: (Not in release order)
1) NOX
2) Dungeon Siege
3) Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna
4) Dungeon siege 2
5) Hard to be a God
6) Loki
7) Legend: Hand of God
8) Sacred + Expansion
9) Divine Divinity
10) Divine Divinity 2
11) Space Hack
12) Fate
13) Fable (PC Version)
14) Dungeon Lords (MUST be the collectors edition, as it has the new patches. Pre-patches = JUNK)
Plus many, many more. For you older gamers out there like myself, who have enjoyed playing RPG themed games throughout the ages, check out the below link, as it lists out a "few" old games that I had not thought about for a very long time, but remember playing most of them back in the day.

Sacred was fun for a while. About the same while as Diablo 2 (SP) for me. So you might want to give it a try. I didn't have a problem with dying as someone mentioned here, but I was a Battlemage so maybe I had some regen spells, I don't remember.

Sell SoJs.

My bad, I meant that instead of Divine divinity 2. I believe they are actually in the process of making a DD2. The original DD was IMO, awesome. BD, sucked. At least until you got outside.
UPDATE: This was listed this morning - http://www.actiontrip.com/rei/comments_news.phtml?id=082708_7
Avencast: Rise of the Mage
Yes, another good, if not exactly great game. I believe I posted a review here awhile back, if anyone here is interested in a more positive view of the game than the official reviewers gave it.

Fable is a bit Diablo-ish
God i wish Dungeon Siege 1 would work on me Computer
You must be joking,right?
About as serious as everyone calling every hack & slash/action RPG released since 1996 a "Diablo Clone". Perhaps I should call a Corvette, a Model T clone. I mean, they are both cars right? They both have seats, four wheels & an engine right?
