I knew there was a PSX version, but never heard anything about it. What was wrong with it?

And in regards to a ds version holy shit yes.

On the PSX version, when entering a building from the world map, there would be a 10ish second delay before anything happened. Before a battle, about 5 second delay. So everybody would pull their weapon out, music plays, they are just....dancing there....waiting...waiting, OH THERE IS THE MENU.

Small annoyances ruined it, tbh.

I'm quite certain it's the original judging by the press release available, but whether or not it's a port or a remake I'm unclear on. Going with Square's track record, I'm guessing remake.

Yeah, it's my favorite RPG hands down, but I'm definitely not buying it. No new updated graphics, one new dungeon (that probably has no effect on the story whatsoever), and some wireless play? Meh, no thanks. I beat the original too many times to even consider buying it again.

^ I've finished EVERY ending at least 10 times each...I'm still getting it. Why, you may ask? Well, I'll inform you. I love this game too much. It's one of the earliest games that got me into the genre, besides Final Fantasy 1 and 4. I played the shit out of it, because it deserved it. Now for the DS, there will be a few things here and there that are new, but YOU CAN PLAY IT WHEREVER YOU WANT!!

Come on, if that doesn't entice you, you weren't a large enough fan.
