I mean, what do you expect, for it to sound exactly the same? It's more of a redux than a cover though. I just can't see how you could say that's the worst cover you've ever heard under any circumstances other than you haven't heard very many covers.

Most covers make me willing to walk through 1000 angry gorillas if necessary, just to get to the controls faster so I can skip to the next song.

Oh, and Nokturnal Mortum's cover of Slayer's "South of Heaven" is pretty bad... but still better than the original. Slayer seems to be one of the only bands out there who can't record good versions of their own songs.
