I worked on this last night. Right now I'd call this a "pilot episode", to see if viewers like it or hate it.

Let me know what you think.

Great comic. Laughed my ass off. This one needs more of its kind. I like the general tone/atmosphere. Keep it up!

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure if you'd find it funny or not.

Fen, maybe I will send it to Gabe, not sure though.

But right now I'd like to make one every week, so stay tuned.

I'd send it, you've got nothing to lose, I mean, if they want to stop it you'd find out eventually anyway heh. I think he'll like it, and if I'm wrong.. then err.. blame err someone else :D

Wow, the art is freaking awesome for a comic!

only thing I don't really like is the font for the text :(

Yeah. I don't like it either. I am going to make the comic size a little bigger so that I have room for text bubbles and so it will be better organized.

I am going to throw together a quick website too, so that I can organize the comics and hopefully add a new one every week.

As always, i'm impressed chu. I wish I could do the same type of style of vector art that you can do. It's very distinct. Also, I recommend Comic Sans MS for a font, if you want to use the "standard". I think it looks pretty good, and most comics use it because it looks somewhat more like writing, and not exactly text. Very nice job though.

Thanks for the advice tim. This comic was more of an experimental piece, to see what works and what doesn't. I plan to improve them as I progress.

Thanks for the comments everybody. I am going to try and put out the site and a new comic possibly by mid-week. Right now my main focus is trying to find a fargin job! Because right now the only income I have is the yearly interest on my savings acount and that ain't a whole lot.

MS Comic Sans has been flogged a bit too hard in previous years, I'd say going for something with the same style, but a little more professional. For all of my comic work which you can see here I've used A.C.M.E. Explosive, I found it to be very appropriate and look fantastic.

Perhaps some ways you can increase the visual appearance of your comic is to increase the size of the cells so you can incorporate speach bubbles (once again, have a quick look at my thread). On a final note, backgrounds are always nice, and easy to do. Either throw something tegether (vector type art) or water-wash a real picture of scenery that suits and use that.
