I think technicly everyone should be voting for 11. tim8604 made that really really look like cell shading.
Alas....I vote for myself.

Great! I didn't know there was a photoshop contest, and I'm glad there is. I also checked the submissions from last week, and they were great too.
Could you HL2.net guys maybe condider putting this on the front page? Maybe in the "community" section? It would add some content, and boost the number of votes.
Great work everyone! Stay solid.

Thanks guys. If you hadn't been noticing, i've been updating the scene constantly, so we'll see if I can't have it *completely* done by the end of the weekend. It's shaping up to be a pretty large project.

shouldn't there be some rule against doing that? updating an image after submitting it. Just incase there's some dispute at some point in a competition, with people maybe updating their images if someone posts a better one or something or some unfair advantage to those who might not be able to get to update their images later
unrelated note, I thought Tim's was the best anyway and probably the closest to what cellshaded is supposed to be.

If you can have multiple submissions, then I'd see no problem with updating your picture. All that matters is the final submission when you cant enter in anything else.
Unless you updated the pic after the deadline......that shouldnt be allowed.

Woo someone voted for me! *Makes note* Shoulda imphisysed his mouth isnt open and that those are his lips...
Wow, only 24 votes. Damn I think I am going to hold off on following contests till more people get involved, doesn't seem worth it.
Regardless of how many people vote, why is would that influence the worth of enterting a submission? I'm not sure I see your logic...
It would just be more fun if there were more people. It would give a better diversity of talent and of votes. Because right now it almost seems like everyweek it is a landslide on who wins, you get 5-10 votes and you're pretty much guaranteed to win.
I just think it would be more fun, because right now the majority of people are only getting 1-2 votes if any. Feels like nobody cares.

any of those I sent a while back any good or were the smily one the only decent idea out of the bunch? :)
ok see if I can get the ball rolling with some idea's
I can't remember the othes now.. how about cartoonify a HL character, not like the Celshaded comp. As it would mean drawing one from scratch to look like its from some cartoon series of HL or something
Walter's apartment - draw a pic of how you imagine Walter the scientists apartment looking heh
design a HL3 logo (pretty sure that was one of the original suggestions from before)
Draw a pic of the scariest monster you can think of for HL3
Create a mockup of a Baldurs Gate II style Half-Life game where the maps are viewed from a distance in isometric style, with lil mini monsters and player and so on :)

I'd say next time one entry per person would be a better idea.
