On the 1up show the recently did a GTAIV round table and said there's a bit of 'The Wire' vibe running through the game, which would be no bad thing as The Wire is head and shoulders above any other TV cops show out there tbh.

Heat, The French Connection, The Black Donalys (a show about an diying Irish crime family that was on NBC for a very short time like 2 years ago I liked it) And other stuff I can't think of.

I heard that too. Not sure which bit they mean though.
