Xbox Live Issues

I was in a party game with some hl2.net members... when all of a sudden my game crashed on me. Said I lost connection with one or more players, and it froze. I restarted the system, and every time I connect to xbox live, I'm like connected and not connected at the same time. I can see people online and can send them text messages... and receive theirs, but I cannot listen to their voice messages, I am completely unable to send out voice messages, and whenever I try to browse the xbox live marketplace it keeps saying connect to xbox live as if i'm not connected, despite the fact my account keeps logging in each time and my friends list shows up.

Also cannot join any GTA IV games anymore... WTF.

I've reset the system, reset my router...

My brothers computer is able to access some websites, and not others... what the hell is going on.

Probably just some temporary issue with your internet.

Same thing was happening to me constantly around the time Halo 3 launched, probably Xbox Live under a bit of stress. They said they'd prepared for it better this time, so with any luck it'll right itself.

I may have had a similar problem. When you're in this sort of 'limbo' and you go see someone's gamercard, is the area around their name silver or gold?

Raz, I was having issues too...even in single player it froze a few times at the loading screen. Im hoping it's a patchable issue.

A friend of mine was having the same problems so i suspect it will be fixed
