Stuck in Episode One

I am having a devil :devil::of a time getting the three cars into the holes while being attacked (and killed) by the Ant Lions. I start with only about thirty in my health score. I am doomed before I start. Does anyone have any ideas about completing this section?:o

Its down to practice my man.

Shotgun the antlions. When you have a moments peace, shove a car in a hole as fast as you can. Rinse and repeat. If you get attacked with the gravity gnu out, primary fire at the antlion. Should buy you enough time to get the shotty out and finish it.

yup primary firing the ant lions turn them over for a short time, alyx will shoot them in the mean time. while she is doing that then push the car in the hole.

When I started playing Ep1 I always got my dad to do that bit for me, but after a while I managed to do it myself. I took a lot of practice and a lot of dying and swearing loudly but after a while I improved greatly and can now do it easily.
Like the other guys say, use shotgun and grav gun to blast the antlions. When ever you get a very brief break from being attacked blast the car towards the holes. if an antlion comes out of the hole you can crush him with the car, therefore killing two birds with one stone (so to speak). When you're going up the ramps to the next levels don't stop moving, walk backwards (if possible) and keep shooting. Alyx should follow you so if the blast the antlions with the grav gun she should be able to kill them.
